The latest edition of the Art is Business “Connections” series focused on the challenges and opportunities of passing down private art collections across generations.
The discussion highlighted the importance of aligning the legal, emotional, and cultural dimensions of art succession.
Dr Gábor B Szabó emphasized that long-term value preservation relies on intentional planning through structures such as foundations or family constitutions. Collections can only become true legacies if they are passed on not just as physical objects, but as lasting values embraced by the next generation.
Many thanks to the Art is Business team for the invitation and the thoughtfully organized event!
